How to Create a WiFi QR Code (Free, Guests Scan to Connect)

Create your WiFi QR code

When this isn't the right tool

A WiFi QR code is a convenience feature, not access control: anyone who can photograph the printed card gets your password, since it's stored in plain text inside the code. For a guest network you reset occasionally that's fine, but don't post the QR for your main network in a public window. It also can't rotate or revoke access — if you change the password, the old code stops working and you must reprint. For enterprise networks using WPA2-Enterprise (username plus certificate), the simple SSID-and-password format doesn't apply at all; use your IT onboarding profile instead.
