About PDF to JPG

Tips & gotchas

Raise the resolution for text-heavy or printable pages; small text turns fuzzy at low settings.
JPG uses lossy compression and has no transparency — if a page needs a transparent background or razor-sharp line art, use PDF to PNG instead.
Vector PDFs (digital exports) rasterise crisply at any size, while scanned PDFs are already images and won't get sharper than the original scan.
Higher resolution means bigger files; run the JPGs through an image compressor afterward if you need to email or upload them.
